I've already got a 'smart' light for my bike which detects when you are braking, but wanted a backup in case I got caught out. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality on the item. It appears to be made out of aluminium and I love that you screw the item off the bike, leaving the bracket behind, and the USBC charging port is completely concealed from the elements and protected via a rubber seal. Unfortunately for me with the Schwinn seat that I use, 1/3 of the light is tucked up under the seat (using the seat mount that is provided). It does come with a strap mount too but I really like how the seat mount works and feels solid. Shame for me! It's the little shock absorbers on the seat that are in the way so be careful if you have one of those style seats. It's super bright and the brake function seems to work well. Another reason I bought this was I thought the light went round sequentially in a circle as the picture indicated that to me but unfortunately it doesn't. I think they need to amend the 'strobing' picture and I've knocked a star off for that as it's a feature I specifically wanted. Battery life so far seems pretty good in testing and it charged super quickly using USBC fast charging. It has a memory function too which means whatever mode you turn it off with, it will turn back on with that mode. Again I think this is a must these days so points for that. For £16.99 I think it's a really good item and wouldn't hesitate in recommending.

Small but very bright and well made, easy to attach and charge, holds charge well and seems pretty water resistant for riding in the rain. The brake sensing feature is great for city riding, it definitely makes drivers more aware of your speed than a static light, however you still want a decent set of reflective clothes to be on the safe side and i'd recommend a reflective helmet too. Great little light, good price and solid build quality.
