The media could not be loaded. As a cycling influencer I get a lot of lights for free, but I bought this one based on my past experiences with Olight. I'm glad I did, it's excellent. The seat rail mount snapped right into place and is secure and sleek, the light is bright and has the ideal strobe option (always on, strobing between bright and dim), the charging port faces backwards into the mount which keeps it clean and waterproof (and also has a rubber seal of course), and it's compact and looks good. Love it.

Light is bright. But the instructions to operate the light are a bit poor. Had to ‘guess’ how it worked and how to turn off and on smart mode by watching YouTube videos on it. Bought while on offer, but wouldn’t have paid full price

I have 4 rear lights ,two from lezyne and one from moon and now this RN120 . I generally choose to take the olight with me just because of it's compact and lightweight design it will fit race bike seat post as well, it's a Very bright 🌞 light with just enough flashing modes to be useful. The only real minuses is battery life which is a bit short when using the high flashing mode you'll get 2 to 3 hours in that mode. The only other negative is that the light will just shut down there's no low power mode which is a bit annoying , it has a break light function also . I think if Olight updated this light to have a battery 🔋 which would last 4-6 hours and add a low power mode they would crush the competition.

Micro USB? I had to double check that I was still in 2023! I really do have to start looking at the specs in more detail for items that I purchase rather than simply going off the main speil and reviews. Anyway, it's small, fits perfectly well on to the lower portion of my dropper post so as not to interfere with the up/down motion of the post, or of course, can also be fitted underneath your seat. The twisty quick release is a nice touch too, although it doesn't quite match up to one of my other tail lights from moon which uses both a twist motion and a magnet for added security, it does seem pretty stable. (time and a few drop offs will tell no doubt!) Still chuckling about the Micro USB though...... Update as of July 2024. It has become apparent that the battery life of this light isn't very good at all. My cheap Chinese unit puts out as much light and the battery lasts at least twice as long! I note that this now appears to come with USB C, so at least it's moved away from the diabolical Micro USB that my unit has!
