My husband and I bought these for rides out on our ebikes and they were well worth the price! We can chat easily even if we are pretty far apart and it's great for safety to warn for hazards etc. It seems to be either talk mode or music & phone mode. Would definitely recommend these.

I purchased two helmets for my wife and myself. We found the helmets to be stylish and well made, I purchase peeks for the helmets as well. They feel like quality products. They fit well and are comfortable to wear for long periods. Finding the correct app to download was a little confusing and the app itself can also be confusing. However, when you understand how the app works it’s plain sailing from there. Operating the helmet is simplicity itself. It almost instantly syncs with our phone and in intercom mode. Clarity of the audio is excellent by intercom and phone. Unbelievably you barely hear any wind noise. These helmets have added a new dimension to our cycling. We cycle along chatting away as though we were sat side by side in a quiet room. Truly amazing! Similarly using your phone is simplicity itself and the quality of both incoming and outgoing speech is perfect. I would definitely purchase these helmets again, but would probably go for the R1Evo with the rear light. So why only 4stars? Simple! The quoted intercom range of 900 metres is a figment of the Sena’s imagination. We did a ‘line of sight’ test in good conditions and we lost connection at only 400 metres. This was hugely disappointing so buyers beware!

The helmet was brilliant whilst it worked. It's 3 years old and out of warranty and the battery has stopped charging. SENA have been thoroughly hopeless in trying to help me resolve this issue. Buyer beware.

un bijou, pas un bruit de vent, une discussion fluide, aucune coupure à moins de larguer le deuxième vélo à 1 km. Quand on sort ma compagne et moi, on arrive à rouler pendant deux heures en discutant non-stop et la batterie a encore de la charge. Et hyper pratique aussi quand on sort avec les enfants, un adulte devant et un adulte pour fermer la marche et on peut se parler pour annoncer les ronds-points, les virages, les véhicules arrivant. C’est vraiment un produit exceptionnel.

Köpte två Sena R1 cykelhjälmar för vi skulle kunna prata med varandra under våra cykelturer och de har fungerat bra. Ljudet är klart och tydligt och nästan inget vindbrus som hörs, fungerar även bra som headset till mobilen. Men ljudkvaliteten är inte den bästa för att lyssna på musik men det kan man väl inte heller begära med små högtalare i hjälmen. En fördel jämfört med vanliga headset är ju att man obehindrat hör vad som händer i trafiken. Vi är mycket nöjda med köpet.
